Another setback of history?

Thursday, 31 July 2014

One should learn and observe nature very well about how some species extinct from this planet and some species are surviving successfully and plan their strategy to dominate and control on the others. There is nothing in our human history that is straight and merciful on this savage paradise.
One should knows that all civilizations were made of fear and blood-shed, and although, in the last century and this 21st century, human had stepped on the moon, is mapping the universe and discovering the DNA of GOD and truth, yet we human would rather close our eyes and would rather turn our back to someone else's suffering. The strategy/politics of survival, in general, is our instinct ingrained in every blood cells, and sadly, it has been the rhythm of life, since the beginning of our existence.
If one knows the history of playing field of Cambodia very well, one should be clear about the complicated strategy of the three magicians: Ho Chi Minh, Le Duc To and Gen. Vo Nguyen Giap who planned to swallow our country to be One Indo-China Federation or state. They had this Grand plan and they did not give up, although they had lost at least a million of their troops in the battle fields since they begun their campaign in the 1930 with the French and with American until 1975.
In 1973 when Henry Kissinger signed the peace agreement in Paris with Le Duc To, America was sedated by the gesture of the North Vietcong, believing that they would adhere to their words, but on the ground Gen. Vo Nguyen Giap move his troos and set the traps ready to kill American troops, which led to the final victory in 1975.
It is a serious mistake, a poor strategy and short-sighted decision that Sam Rainsy leads his party to the dead-end in order to resolved only the surface of the dead-lock crises of our motherland, by stopping peaceful demonstrations with huge crowd of people and boycotting the parliament, which created a powerful blow on Hanoi and its puppets on both political and economic fields to almost a stand still . The campaigning had re-lighted the soul of the Khmer nationalism; national unity and patriotism, the sense of our true history and the purpose for freedom and change for the survival of our motherland which made the Hanoi regime and its puppets a nightmare. The sense of nationalism and the hunger to change that were demonstrated by almost a million people on the streets were one of the biggest kind of protests in the world to be recorded, despite our population is only 14 millions.
If one study the molecular-structure of any dictatorship one would realise that dictator’s regimes are only tough from the outside, but nothing is solid from the inside. It's hard to crack in the first few battles, but they would be easily falling down like the domino. On top of that, Hun Sen and his cronies had done enormous and serious crimes against our motherland, which are unacceptable by majority of our people. On the contrary, its crimes would turn to be a big asset of the opposition party CNRP to easily pursue for a total stand-off for a total victory.
With CNRP’s move here to consolidate with the CPP in parliament, it reminds me of how Sihanouk in 1991 rushed to sign a peace agreement with Hun Sen, who was installed by Hanoi whom Sihanouk himself had never known that person’s back ground before of how he become as the main dealer behind Hanoi’s impasse.

Sam Rainsy some how reminds me of Sihanouk who failed to materialize the long term effect of fighting strategy as he rushed to sign the peace agreement, at a time when the communist bloc USRR, who sponsored Hanoi to run Cambodia, from 1979-1989 was collapsing, and as the result on the actual battle fields each day in Cambodia with 200,000 Hanoi’s troops and its 20,000 allied Khmer troops, supported by Hanoi, were starving and weakened each day in both psychological/moral and physical energy to defend themselves.
I witnessed in the battle fields myself of how easy to take over the military bases that were occupied by the CPP’s soldiers, by just surrounding their camps and persuaded them with a loud-speaker before the battle even started with some logic sentences. The young Khmer-CPP troops were all leaving their bases without a fight to join the KPNLF troops, without a single shot and each day hundreds of them came to join the KPNLF.
Had Sihanouk and his ally Son Sann were true warriors and were able to hold on to the battle for the following 5-6 months, Cambodia would have been free from Hanoi’s hegemony. Sihanouk’s deal had legalised the Hanoi’s designed regime, which we all have to live with it until today.
Here in the same fashion, had the CNRP carries on with the demonstrations and not to join the parliament, it would be enough measures to bring down the CPP’s regime as more and more people came to join the CNRP for a new and clean page of history and the world. The investors would have been putting more pressures on the CPP that had breached the peace agreement and the human rights abuses since its came to power in 1997 by a coup d’etat.
The marriage of convenience have left a lot of big questions such as how much can the CNRP save the country’s problems, such as about border issue, about the injustice that we have seen :land grabbing, evictions, corruptions that the CPP leaders have done and most of all the economy that is a bad state as every thing have been sold for 99 years, which created poverty and mass exodus to neighbouring country for jobs? .
Will Sam Rainsy dare to raise his finger and point to Hun Sen’s face, in the parliament, about his betrayal acts on land swapping and his corruption or will he be silent and lives with it?
As we all know that behind the CNRP’s backs there is a big stick and the CNRP's mouths will be fed with sweet carrots.
